Right now the Patriots are 11-2, 1st in the AFC East, and the best team in the NFL. They have had arguably the hardest schedule in the league and still have remained on top. They beat Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, the Jets, and Chicago. They still have to play Green Bay and Miami, but neither of those games should be a problem at the rate things are going right now. If they haven't proven themselves as Super Bowl contenders already, what else do they have to do?
They completely embarrassed the Jets and the Bears the last two weeks. They look untouchable. Tom Brady is having a MVP caliber year despite losing the deep threat in Randy Moss. The defense is starting to step it up despite being one of the youngest in the league. Everything is going their way right now. Unlike the Jets, they don't trash talk all week and then can't follow it up. They are a professional team and they speak through actions unlike Rex Ryan. This is the Patriots year to win it all again.
