A cool blog that I found is called "Splendid Pictures Around the Net." This blog does exactly what the title suggests, it finds random pictures online and it talks about them. The first post I saw had a cat head made out of Legos and it was next to a real cat. I thought it was pretty funny. It caught my eye because of how good it looked. It obviously took a lot of time to make.
Another post I saw showed an ad campaign that a company was using to ensure that the people are careful going down stairs. On the floor there is an image of a woman who appears that she just fell down. From a didtance it may look like somebodt fell, but from up close it is just an ad. I thought that it was a very creative ad campaign and was a good way to catch a person's eye.
This website has a simple design. The top of the page had a custom image that tells the title of the blog. It is a picture with two butterflies and has the slogan, "a picture is worth a thousand words." The rest of the blog is white and has some things along the left side. It is pretty basic for the most part.
