Books vs e-Books

This is a common issue in schools today whether the school should remain with tangible books or switch to electronic books. Electronic books have become more popular over the past few years with things such as Nook and Kindle. These small devices can hold thousands of books in a small device. It is easy to carry around books all on one device instead of carrying around multiple books. One complaint  is that the e-Books may be bad for the eyes becasue you are staring at a screen all day. Both have their pros and cons, but what is better?

Next year our school is planning on having iPads instead of books, which I don't agree with. The iPad is an interesting device, but it is no substitute for an actual text book. I'm glad that I get to leave and don't have to deal with the iPad transition. I wouldn't be able to look at a screen for like that instead of a book. It's harder to read on a device and overall harder to learn.
