Downloading Music

Downloading music is the most popular way to get music in today's world. Very few peopole still go to the store and by albums; it's much easier to sit at home and get music instantly. Many forms of downloading have come and gone, some legal and some illegal. The first major illegal file sharing site was Napster. To be honest, I used it. How can anybody pass up free music? As it gained popularity, people realized that that they were losing money in the music industry. The government soon shut it down. The next big free music site was Limewire. I also used this website until it was shut down just recently. Now that the governemt is really cracking down on free music, I've switched to iTunes actually buying music. It feels like a step backwards after having free music for years. I understand the artists want money, but is $1.29 a song a little too much? Until the next good site comes out, I guess i'll have to pay for music.
